Chapter 2 Playful Captain

"So, what did you want to talk about?" I asked Rangiku on the way back. Rangiku paused for a moment. "What do you think of Gin?" She asked me. I didn't know what to say. "I'm not sure. I don't really know him that well." I said. Though I did admire him from afar since my graduation. He just seemed interesting to me. Sosuke Aizen was pretty interesting too. I sensed something about the two of them. They appeared to be different from everyone else. Not sure why I felt that way. "Why? What do you think of him Rangiku?" I asked. Rangiku's eyes became distant. "Gin is a pest." She said and we continued to walk. "I see." I said in response. Something happened between the two of them. Not sure what. But I could read it in her eyes. Did she secretly like him? And was just too proud to admit it? I shook those thoughts away. It was not my place to get involved with something like that.

"You seem to be quite fond of him." I said playfully. I couldn't help myself. It was too tempting not to tease her. "Wh-What?" Rangiku said. I grinned. "You wanna hug him, you wanna smooch him." I said and hugged myself. I made puckering lips. "Smooch smooch." I said cutely. Rangiku growled.  "That's ridiculous!" She said and swiped at me. I moved back and laughed. "You know it's true." I said and ran off. "See you tomorrow lover girl." I said, still laughing.

"That little..." Rangiku muttered. She was about to chase after Yuki, but decided against it. "Eh, I'll just have a drink instead. Maybe two." Rangiku said and flash stepped her way back to her place.

I looked back after a while of running. Rangiku didn't follow me. "Ah well. Now for those papers." I said and opened my door. I sensed someone's spiritual pressure when I entered the living room. And there was the captain of squad three at my table. I froze. What was Gin Ichimaru doing here? "G- I... I mean Captain Ichimaru?" I stuttered. Feeling foolish for acting that way. Gin looked up at me. His grin widened. "Hey there. I was wonderin' if maybe you wanted to get somethin' to eat wit me." Gin asked gently. I hid my smile. It was kind of cute how he was acting. "That is very nice of you. But I have important papers to get done." I said calmly. Gin's smile didn't leave his face. "Is that so? But you haven't eaten yet have you?" He said. I sighed. He was right of course. But I had to finish those papers.

"Sorry. I have to finish the documents." I said. "No time for eating." I said and looked at Gin. He had gotten up and walked past me. He stopped at my desk. "I wonder how you are going to do that." He said and took the papers from my desk. "Without these?" Gin said and took off out my door. "Captain!" I gasped. I ran out of my house and looked around. Gin was hopping from roof to roof. I tightened my hand into a fist. That guy! I was going to get in trouble if I didn't get it in on time. And I really didn't want to hear Byakuya's lectures about responsibility. I jumped onto the rooftops and made my way across. It was a good thing I learned how to do flash steps. I followed Gin as close as I could. Unfortunately he was faster than me. I managed to keep sight of him until we reached another part of the area.

I recognized it as the area where certain squads were. I heard a door open. I stopped running. I ignored my aching stomach in order to find the captain of squad three. I hated hunger pains... I jumped down and saw the only house that had it's door open. I ran inside. "There you are." I said nearly out of breath. I had been running for a while. That or I was just weak from hunger. Either way I was irritated now. "Ah, hello there. What brings you to my lovely home?" Gin said with a fake smile. "You know damn well what I am doing here." I said and held out my hand. "Now give them to me." I ordered. Gin scratched his head. "Eh? I ain't sure what you are talkin' about." He said and smiled. "Perhaps if I eat it will jog my memory." Gin said and reached for a bowl. It had rice and shrimp in it. I looked down to see there was more on the table.

Salmon rolls, rice balls, a large bowl of noodles, and some fresh mountain vegetables all lined the table. I even spotted a few deserts. I felt my stomach growl. I tried to fight it off. I waited until Gin had taken a few bites of rice. "Okay you've eaten." I said. Now angry. "Now for the papers." I said in a demanding tone. "Sorry. Still can't remember. Perhaps if ya join me?" Gin asked sweetly. That fox like smile was starting to bug me. Actually... I didn't really mind it. I was just upset from the combination of being hungry and impatient. "Captain Ichimaru..." I moaned. I could have strangled him at that point. Maybe it was because I sensed he was stronger than me. Maybe it was because I was starving. Whatever the reason, I ended up staying with him.

"What's with all this captain stuff? Ya can just call me Gin." Gin said softly. I smiled at last. After eating some noodles and salmon rolls, I finally replied. "It is only out of respect captain." I said and drank some green tea. I soon realized the amount of food here was too much for one person. Had he planned for me to eat with him? "It's alright ya know. I don't mind if ya call me by my name." Gin said sweetly. He patted my shoulder. "Really. It's fine." Gin said. I found myself drawn in my his sweet words. And laughed. "Alright. But remember." I said and raised a finger. "You asked for it. Gin." I said cutely. Gin chuckled. "Fair enough." He said. I ended up staying longer than I meant to. I was unsure of how much time had gone by. But at one point I realized it was dark out. "Ah. I should be going now. As for the documents..." I said.

Gin grinned. "Ah yes. But you've already stayed this long. Ya might as well spend the night." He said. I felt my heart pick up pace. "Wh-What? No. I couldn't!" I said suddenly. Gin's grin grew wider. "It's okay. I do only have one bed though. Guess we're gonna have to share it." Gin said playfully. To his surprised I giggled. I got up and walked over to him. I patted his head. "Alright. I am pretty tired anyways. Don't you do anything strange now." I said placing a finger to my lips. Gin's smile vanished and he seemed embarrassed all of a sudden. Placing his hands up he responded. "I would never!" Gin said shyly. I giggled. "I'm kidding. I know you won't do anything." I said and gathered up the dishes. "Ya don't have to do that." Gin said. "It's only fair. I'll join you in a bit." I said and took the dishes to the kitchen.

I looked up at the night sky as I washed the dishes. It was lovely. The stars glowed beautifully. Like jewels sparkling over the vast world. It was interesting. The Soul Society, The human world and even the realm of the hollows all probably had the same sky. In that sense... I wonder if we are as different as we appear to be? I finished washing the dishes. Silly thoughts. I found Gin in the hallway. "This way." He said and led me to his bedroom. Was this really alright? Sharing a bed with a stranger? I didn't know if he would actually keep his promise. I felt silly for thinking that. Something in my heart told me he wouldn't do such a thing. It was logical thinking. But I haven't heard of Gin doing anything like that to someone.

"Ladies first." Gin said and waited by the door. "My how polite." I said with a grin of my own. I laid on one side of the bed. It was closest to the window. "Oh how comfy." I said and removed my robe. I was wearing a black shirt and skirt beneath it. I folded and set the clothes on the chair by his desk. I also took out my hair tie. "Hope you don't mind." I said sexily. Gin chuckled. "It's fine." He said and got in beside me. "Just remember to stay on your side Gin." I warned him gently. Gin grinned. "I know. I will. Don't ya worry miss Yuki." Gin said calmly. I poked his nose. "Now, what's with all this miss business?" I said playfully. Gin's smile grew. "Ah, using my own words against me. You're right though. I'll just call ya Yuki then." Gin said softly. "And shall I still call you captain in front of the others?" I asked cutely.

Gin smiled. "Nah. Ya don't have to do that." He said calmly. I yawned and laid back on his bed. "Good night Gin." I said. "Good night Yuki." Gin said back. I soon closed my eyes and fell asleep.

Gin stroked the mint green hair of the woman beside him. "Ya sure are a strange one alright. I wonder what it is that Captain Aizen sees in you?" Gin said to himself. "Ah well. I suppose we can figure that one out on our own. Rest well Yuki. We've got a pretty big day tomorrow as a squad." Gin looked over at his desk and observed the hair tie. "Now that doesn't suit a squad three member does it?" Gin said and pulled out his sword. He then cut a small part of his robe off. And set it on top of Yuki's things. Gin then took the small hair tie and threw it out the window. The black piece of cloth was now a ribbon. Gin left a note by the ribbon.
Stupid DA update... Yes I'm still mad about that! *grabs Shinso and destroys several buildings with it* Take THAT DA! *pants*
Gin: Do ya feel better now?
Me: Yes. Yes I do. But only slightly. *places hand on chest* The pain in my heart is great... Oh well back to business...

Wasn't that a sweet chapter? :giggle: Now ya know how Yuki got her black ribbon. I can't wait to write the next chapter.

Note: I do not own any of the Bleach characters nor do I claim to. I only own my oc Yuki.

EDIT: Seems like DA is working now so yeah. :giggle: Old description, but that's okay! ^^
